Tomotsuna Inoue

Tomotsuna Inoue is the Founder and CEO of Pestalozzi Technology, a company dedicated to transforming human movement data into valuable insights for education and healthcare. 

A former American football quarterback at Waseda University, Japan, he pursued a professional career in the United States before transitioning into entrepreneurship. His experience in high-performance sport shaped his belief that success is driven not by intuition, but by data. 

In 2019, he founded Pestalozzi Technology with the mission “To make physical data valuable.” Today, the company operates ALPHA, a digital platform that collects and analyses physical fitness data from over 2 million students across Japan, working closely with government agencies, schools, and research institutions. 

He has also been appointed as an Entrepreneurship Ambassador by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), promoting innovation in education.
