Keynote from Sungsup Ra: powering a learning society in the age of disruption
Sungsup Ra’s dynamic keynote unveiled a bold blueprint for building resilient, future-ready learning societies in an age of disruption. Drawing from his acclaimed book, he shared powerful global case studies on harnessing technology, skills-based learning, and lifelong education to drive equity, innovation, and national progress. It was an unmissable session from one of the region’s most visionary education strategists.

Levelling up learning through Esports & game-based education in action
James Fraser-Murison, Afiq Fadhli Bin Narawi, Monica Joshi, and Namya Joshi delivered a high-energy panel showing how esports and game-based learning had transformed classrooms, boosting engagement, fostering inclusion, and unlocking new career pathways. They shared inspiring success stories and practical strategies for aligning play with curriculum goals, assessments, and digital citizenship, proving that when learning feels like a game, every student wins.

Women in EdTech Mentoring Circles
Launched at Bett UK 2025 and brought to Bett Asia, the Women in EdTech Mentoring Circles celebrated women in the industry. This inspiring community gave women a platform to share stories, exchange advice, and connect with allies in a supportive space. The session was run by some of Southeast Asia's most influential women in EdTech and brought together both women and men from all over the globe.

Dr Goh Chee Leong delivered a thought-provoking session on harnessing AI’s transformative power while keeping people at the heart of education. He explored ethical challenges, the psychological impact on learners, and the huge benefits of adaptive, personalised learning showcasing innovative AI solutions that enhanced accessibility, boosted efficiency, and empowered educators without losing the human touch.

Impactful morning roundtables
Day Two was kicked off by three exclusive breakfast roundtables hosted by Adobe, Google for Education and Britannica Education. Attendees enjoyed breakfast whilst hearing from the three incredible hosts. They discussed how AI is being utilised for English language learning, the challenges and benefits of using AI in the classroom and how generative AI can unleash creativity. Attendees left inspired and ready to innovate!

Transforming Southeast Asian education with Kahoot!
Kahoot! showcased how they are revolutionising classrooms and universities across the region turning lessons into dynamic, interactive experiences and empowering educators with powerful assessment tools. From AI-powered flashcards to streamlined content creation, the session revealed how Kahoot! saves teachers time, boosted engagement, and, according to research, even lifted student performance by a full grade.

Bett Asia Schools Challenge
In its third year, the Bett Asia Schools Challenge 2025 empowers student teams from all over Southeast Asia to tackle climate action head-on. Armed with expert training and Google for Education tools, finalists developed impactful projects and will showcase their ideas live on a global stage while teachers earn their prestigious Bett Eco Educator Certificates.

EdTech 10 List
We celebrated the third edition of Bett Asia’s EdTech 10 list recognising some of the region’s most outstanding women driving change across Southeast Asia’s education sector. The finalists’ stories of innovation and impact were celebrated on the Classroom Theatre stage in Kuala Lumpur, inspiring the region’s community of educators and EdTech leaders.
