Bett Asia 2024 brought together over 1,800 policymakers, education leaders, and EdTech innovators from more than 60 countries for two dynamic days in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event featured over 30 ministerial leaders participating in a productive roundtable, 80+ inspiring speakers across four packed content theatres, and a bustling expo hall showcasing the latest in EdTech innovation.

The Bett Asia EdTech 10 list is a regional initiative that highlights the remarkable work and success stories of women transforming the EdTech landscape in the Asia-Pacific region. To promote big thinking and innovative ideas at scale, we launched three unique challenges this year, and the students certainly rose to the occasion. We invited the finalists to showcase their ideas on stage during Bett Asia 2024, where they pitched their concepts live in a dynamic, high-energy environment. The exchange of ideas was electric! Leveraging digital technologies
To drive meaningful change across Southeast Asia, we hosted an exclusive Ministerial Roundtable the day before Bett Asia 2024. As a member of the UNESCO Global Education Coalition and in partnership with the UK Department for Business and Trade, we'll use this to support SDGs and explore EdTech policies that ensure inclusive, equitable education.
Sparking creativity with Canva
One of the most popular sessions was hosted by Canva, where they showcased how their AI-driven tools empower educators to foster creativity and equip students with the skills needed for the modern workforce. Visitors to their bustling stand were treated to live demos and exclusive giveaways, including tote bags, making it a must-visit spot at the event.
Providing content that inspires
Bett Asia 2024 delivered an incredible lineup of content across all stages, featuring thought leaders and innovators from the education and EdTech community. From the Leadership Summit Plenary, HE/TVET and K12 Streams to the ClassroomTheatre, there was something for everyone!
