Dr Damla Khan
Founder and CEO TynkerByte and Brainsteins
Dr Damla Khan is a neuroscientist, consultant and entrepreneur. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Neuroscience from the University of Glasgow, an MRes in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Southampton and a PhD in Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine (Clinical Neuroscience) from Cardiff University.
She completed postdoctoral research at the Montreal Neurological Institute at McGill University and earned an MBA with Merit from Imperial College London Business School. Damla also serves on the Imperial Business School Advisory Council and the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore’s Leadership & Talent Development Committee.
At Imperial, she received the IBM Entrepreneurial Journey Project prize and the Dean’s Social Impact Fund. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and works as a consultant in Deep Tech, Life Sciences and MedTech.
Damla is the founder of the education company Brainsteins and the EdTech startup TynkerByte. As a STEM Ambassador and education advocate, she is committed to advancing innovation and creating meaningful impact in education.
