Cynthia Mala Paul Dorairaj

Cynthia Mala Paul Dorairaj is a Lecturer in the School of Business and Management at Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU) with over 15 years of teaching experience and more than 25 years in accounts, tax, audit, and entrepreneurship through her firm, Alphamatic Management Services. She is passionate about experiential learning, mentoring students through hackathons, entrepreneurship days, tourism innovation challenges, and industry collaborations with partners such as KLTESA, Yayasan Chow Kit, and The Lost Food Project. 

Cynthia serves as Advisor to Sustainable Future Fusion (SFF) and has led numerous SDG-aligned initiatives on food waste management, environmental awareness, financial literacy, and youth empowerment. She is also an active leader in Soroptimist International Shah Alam (SISA), championing women’s and girls’ education, community outreach, and social entrepreneurship projects. 

Her work bridges academia, industry, and community impact—integrating design thinking, lean startup methods, and real-world projects to prepare students to become ethical, innovative leaders. Cynthia continues to contribute to research, CSR programmes, and international collaborations, believing strongly in partnerships that create inclusive, sustainable change for society.
