Bob Skerstonas is the founder of LearnEnglishAbc.com, an online English-learning platform built on a teacher's conviction that every learner moves at their own pace. Bob learned how people really acquire English in the classroom, teaching and tutoring students from every linguistic background. In 2017 he concluded that one teacher, however devoted, can only ever help a small number of learners, and began eight years of patient building with a co-founder who writes software and shares the vision. Today LearnEnglishAbc.com combines 45 structured lessons across five learning areas, a library of 164 graded books spanning CEFR A1 to C1, songs with lyrics, and HOPE, an AI conversation tutor that greets learners in their own first language before carrying them gently into English conversation.
