English without pressure: Inclusive learning for EAL and SEND students

Many students study English for years yet freeze in the first ten seconds of a conversation, and for learners with dyslexia, ADHD, autism, communication needs or language anxiety, that pressure is multiplied. This session shows a low-pressure alternative, live on stage. HOPE, the AI conversation tutor inside LearnEnglishAbc.com, greets each learner in their own first language before moving gently into English, and discusses the graded reader the learner has just finished, so the learner brings the topic and only the English is new. LearnEnglishAbc.com was not built as a SEND-specific programme; the session shows honestly how self-paced lessons, repetition, graded reading, and private AI practice support learners with additional needs.

Aimed at K-12, TVET, and higher education educators, and digital leaders, attendees will leave with a practical checklist for evaluating conversational AI for inclusive language classrooms, plus free pilot access for institutions.
