From classrooms to world: Dialogue to build future-ready global citizens

In an increasingly interconnected yet polarised world, equipping young people with the skills to engage in meaningful dialogue is essential. 

This session explores how structured intercultural dialogue and reflective practice enable young people to develop future-ready skills and positive attitudes. 

Drawing on implementation experience across multiple countries, we will share insights on integrating dialogue into curricula, leveraging digital platforms to connect classrooms globally, and creating meaningful experiences for young people. Participants will also explore how dialogue-based learning fosters empathy, critical thinking, and respect for diverse perspectives which are the key competencies for nurturing student voice and leadership.
