Sally Hodgson

 Head of Training  Wavenet Education

Sally Hodgson is Head of Training at Wavenet and a Google Champion, specialising in supporting educators and organisations to integrate technology into teaching and learning. With over two decades of experience in education and training, she is passionate about empowering both teachers and students to develop the digital skills needed for the future.   

Working in partnership with Google for Education, Canva and Microsoft, Sally designs and delivers engaging training programmes that focus on practical classroom application. Her work centres on helping schools build confidence in using innovative tools to enhance creativity, collaboration and critical thinking, ensuring technology is embedded meaningfully within everyday learning.   

As part of the Bett Asia School Challenge, sponsored by Google for Education, Sally has been supporting schools across Asia by leading training sessions on emerging technologies such as Gemini and NotebookLM. These sessions enabled both teachers and students to explore real-world problem solving.   

Sally is deeply committed to inclusive and impactful education, bringing a practical, learner-focused approach that inspires confidence and innovation in the use of technology across diverse educational settings.
