Matthew Glanville

Director of Assessment International Baccalaureate

Matt Glanville is the Director of Assessment at the International Baccalaureate (IB), a role he assumed in June 2023. He has been an integral part of the IB's Assessment team since 2014. Prior to joining the IB, Matt's professional journey took him through various educational and assessment institutions in the UK, including the Qualifications Curriculum  Development Agency (QCDA) and the English Exams regulator, Ofqual. He started his career as a Mathematics teacher and later transitioned into leading research teams for regional and vocational skills agencies. With a rich and diverse background in educational assessment, Matt brings a wealth of experience to his current position at the IB.
