Dr NV David

Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM)

Dr NV David is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Malaysia with nearly three decades of experience spanning applied mechanics, materials engineering, and engineering education.

A Fulbright‑supported PhD graduate of Texas A&M University, he has led nationally and internationally funded research projects exceeding MYR3 million and has contributed to research governance as Head of Research (International and Private Grants) at UiTM’s Research Management Center. His recent work focuses on education innovation and GenAI, particularly Hyper‑Personalised Blended Learning (HPBL), AI‑supported assessment and competency‑aligned curriculum design.

He serves as Strategic Advisor to the IBM Innovation Center for Education and as Institutional Director for CADS AI-Yayasan Peneraju upskilling programs that advances industry‑aligned talent development. His current contributions emphasise the convergence of human cognition, intelligent systems and scalable learning architectures to build future‑ready education systems across higher education and national skills ecosystems.
