Dr Malini Eliatamby

Vice President Academic (APAC) Cintana Education

Dr Malini Eliatamby is an influential leader with extensive experience across academic leadership, digital transformation, and institutional strategy in both national and global environments. Currently serving as Vice President Academic, APAC, Cintana Education, with previous leadership roles including Vice President Operations, INCEIF University, Chief Academic Officer of the INTI Group of Institutions, and Deputy Vice Chancellor of INTI International University. 

Known for driving transformational change, she has successfully led large-scale academic and operational portfolios, including managing over 700 faculty and 200 support staff serving 17,000 students across six campuses. Her achievements include spearheading a major digital transformation that secured RM38 million in funding from the Board of the Central Bank of Malaysia, rolling out online education, transformative student engagement models, pioneering student retention and early warning systems, and leading complex culture transformation initiatives across diverse academic environments. She has designed learning experiences which are future forward and is now very active in the AI space, related to higher education and student outcomes. 

An award-winning educator and change leader, she is a recipient of the National Outstanding Educator Award and the Blackboard Catalyst Award for Leading Change. She also co-authored the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) Institutional and Programmatic Guidelines for the Malaysian Qualifications Agency.
