The Bett Asia EdTech 10 List: The women transforming EdTech across Southeast Asia

Across Southeast Asia, something powerful is happening.

From classrooms in Jakarta to innovation hubs in Singapore, a new wave of leaders is transforming how technology is used to educate, empower and inspire the next generation. And at the heart of this movement? Women.

The Bett Asia EdTech 10 List was created to shine a light on these trailblazers - the innovators, educators and entrepreneurs who are not just participating in EdTech, but redefining it.

A platform for impact

The Bett Asia EdTech 10 is not simply a recognition programme. It’s a platform, one that amplifies underrepresented voices, celebrates real impact in education, and inspires the next generation of Women in EdTech.

Each year, ten exceptional women are recognised for their contributions to education through technology. From scaling startups to transforming classroom practice and influencing policy, their work is shaping the future of education across the region.

And importantly, it doesn’t stop at recognition.

Finalists are invited to Bett Asia, where they are awarded alongside a global audience of educators, policymakers and innovators. It’s here that ideas spark, connections form, and opportunities grow.

Because when we elevate individual voices, we strengthen the entire ecosystem.

Why this matters now

The EdTech sector is growing rapidly across Southeast Asia, fuelled by digital transformation, investment and a shared ambition to improve access to quality education.

But growth alone isn’t enough.

To truly innovate, the sector must be diverse in perspective, inclusive in opportunity, and representative of the communities it serves.

At Bett, we know that better education happens when more voices are heard. In fact, across our global platform, we continue to champion diversity and inclusion as a core driver of innovation and progress.

The EdTech 10 List plays a vital role in this mission, spotlighting women who are leading change, breaking barriers, and creating pathways for others to follow.

Meet the alumni shaping the future

The impact of the EdTech 10 extends far beyond a single moment on stage.

Our alumni community is made up of founders, educators and changemakers who continue to scale their solutions across borders, influence education systems and policy, and mentor others within the industry.
