EdTech overload: Supporting educators to support learners
Education leaders are under growing pressure to implement new digital tools, platforms, and AI capabilities while ensuring educators feel confident, supported and empowered. Yet many educators are already stretched for time, overwhelmed by constant change, and uncertain about how technology can meaningfully improve teaching and learning.
This panel session explores practical, scalable approaches to professional development that prioritise simplicity, relevance, and sustained support over one-off training events. Attendees will examine strategies for embedding continuous learning into busy learning environments, building staff confidence across varying ICT skill levels, and creating cultures where experimentation feels safe and achievable.
Through several examples and actionable frameworks, discover how to reduce digital fatigue, improve adoption of new technologies, and design professional learning experiences that are flexible, personalised, and impactful.
