Utilising practical technology and innovation for disability-inclusive education
There is increasing engagement and concern among various stakeholders regarding the integration of technology in disability-inclusive education. The pivotal role of technology in enhancing the autonomy and quality of life for learners with disabilities (LWDs) is irrefutable.
This session will delve into promoting inclusive education, encompassing both online learning environments and traditional classroom settings, along with a spectrum of assistive technologies (AT), ranging from low-tech to high-tech cutting-edge innovations.
The focus will be on how AT facilitates inclusive education for LWDs, offering an expanded view of how physical and digital solutions enable LWDs to achieve their educational and personal goals.
