Transforming Higher Education requires a dynamic vision and innovative strategies to address the evolving needs of learners. Key aspects include: integrating digital learning for flexible and personalised education; promoting lifelong learning to ensure continuous skill development; and embedding sustainable practices to prioritise environmental consciousness.

Additionally, Higher Education must actively contribute to local communities and regions through partnerships that address local challenges, support economic growth, and enhance social wellbeing. By embracing these elements, Higher Education can drive positive change, preparing learners to thrive in a complex, interconnected world.

This session is aimed at senior management in Higher Education and will cover digital learning; lifelong learning; sustainable learning; and community impact. Attendees will obtain a better appreciation of the key strategic directions for the transformation of Higher Education, as well as an appreciation of the opportunities and challenges from a Singapore Management University case study.
