Another brick in the firewall: Crafting a cyber security strategy

Educational institutions are increasingly targeted by malicious actors in the digital age. This presentation is aimed at any school who is developing their cybersecurity strategy to protect sensitive information and ensure the safety of student, staff and school data. As well as covering the current global cyber risk landscape and threat trends in the education sector, we will present Kellett’s journey in this domain, the lessons we learned from a ransomware attack, the path to ISO27001 accreditation, and the approach we take with all stakeholders to help prevent and detect data breaches, and respond effectively.
