Valia Vanissa

Head of Growth and Community Engagement Solve Education Foundation

Growing up in a family of educators, Velia saw firsthand how education can shape lives, not just through teaching, but through opportunity and mindset. While she didn’t become a teacher herself, she was drawn to the bigger picture: how education could be made more accessible, engaging, and relevant, especially through technology.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in ICT Business Management from Telkom University and has spent the past five years working at Solve Education! Foundation, where she’s focused on using innovation to make learning more accessible for youth across Southeast Asia. Her work spans program implementation, business development, growth strategies, and partnerships, with a strong focus on helping young people gain the skills they need to succeed.
Velia has collaborated with educators, local governments, and corporate partners to design programs that not only reach communities but create measurable impact. She’s passionate about making sure education meets people where they are, whether through gamified apps, grassroots outreach, or strategic collaborations.

In 2021, she completed an executive education program at the Thunderbird School of Global Management, deepening her understanding of global leadership and development. More recently, she was selected as a fellow in the Harpswell ASEAN Women’s Leadership Summit 2025, joining a network of changemakers across the region who are working to advance gender equality and inclusive growth.

At the heart of her work is a simple belief: when people are empowered with the right tools and support, they can define their own paths and reach their goals. Velia is committed to making that possible, one program, one partnership, and one learner at a time.
