Danang Catur Satrianto

Teacher MYP High School Al Firdaus

Danang Catur Satrianto, is an English teacher at Al Firdaus, an inclusive IB World School. Raised in a modest family, his father transitioned from teaching to entrepreneurship, while his mother worked as a market food vendor. As the youngest of four, Danang developed resilience and a strong work ethic early on.

His passion for education began in primary school and was fuelled by curiosity and creativity. Excelling academically throughout his school years, he pursued English Education at IAIN Surakarta, driven by a desire to empower others through language and inclusive learning.

Since 2017, Danang has taught at Al Firdaus, which offers the IB Primary and Middle Years Programmes. He also serves as a homeroom teacher, supporting students’ individual needs. The school’s inclusive ethos aligns with his belief in equal access to education, welcoming learners with autism, physical disabilities, and other SEND needs.

Danang integrates technology to enhance learning, using tools like Canva, Procreate, FL Studio Mobile, CorelDraw, and SketchUp. His innovative approach provides diverse pathways for students, especially those with SEND, fostering engagement and celebrating varied forms of excellence.
