The Future-Proof Schools Challenge

You have been chosen to design an innovative technology solution that will help communities to learn about, adapt to, or combat the specific effects of climate change. Your mission is to create a solution that integrates Google technology to help protect the planet.

For K12 students aged 13 - 17

Design a solution to raise awareness around and/or help solve key sustainability challenges. Some examples may include reducing waste, conserving energy, or protecting biodiversity. How can your solution make climate education more engaging and actionable?

Higher and Further Education aged 17+

Develop a tech-driven solution (AI tool, data-driven platform, sensor-based system, or app) that helps communities track, reduce, or adapt to climate change impacts. Can your idea help people monitor energy use, reduce waste, or protect natural resources?
