Governance in the age of AI: From policy to practice
Artificial intelligence (AI) is no longer a future concern for educators, it's already here. From classroom tools to data use, institutions are under growing pressure to understand what responsible AI use looks like and how to manage it. But while national conversations are happening, school-level guidance is often missing or unclear.
This panel session brings together education leaders and experts to discuss what good AI governance should look like in real life. They will explore how to develop policies that are clear, ethical, and workable—and how to put them into action without slowing down innovation or overwhelming staff.
Attendees will learn what makes up a strong AI policy in a school setting, feel more confident turning policy into real-life action, and understand the ethical, practical, and leadership challenges so that they can address them.
