Dr Vino presently holds the position of lecturer within the School of Education at Taylor’s University, where her primary commitment lies in delivering high-quality education. Her unwavering passion for education extends beyond the confines of traditional roles, aspiring to serve as an inspiration to both students and colleagues alike. Her belief that no child should be left behind, regardless of their race, religion, or status, drives her work with marginalised groups, such as refugee students and educators, to empower their teaching and learning.
In her prior role, Dr Vino served as an Instructional Designer (ID) within the eLearning Division of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Malaya. Within the realm of academic inquiry, Dr Vino's research pursuits are anchored in the dynamic field of collaborative learning. Her scholarly endeavours are notably influenced by the conceptual framework of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK), propelling her to devise innovative learning tasks that advance pedagogical practices.
Dr Vino's scholarly contributions have been recognised through various accolades such as Gold medal at IPCTL X SULAM 2025 for her project, "Adaptive Scaffold in Teacher Education: AI with Chatbot and Role Play Integration," and a Silver award for Exemplary Meritorious Academic Staff) Award (EMAS) 2025 for the project titled "Beyond the Human Peer: AI-Powered Role-Play for Teacher Education".
Beyond her research accomplishments, Dr Vino possesses a rich array of professional certifications, including being a Certified Training and Development Manager by HRDF, a Train the Trainer certification, and recognition as a Certified Microsoft Innovative Educator and a Certified Nearpod Educator. These certifications underscore her commitment to continuous professional development and proficiency in leveraging innovative educational technologies.
