Ministerial and Policy Leaders' Roundtable

In this 'invitation-only' Ministerial and Policy Leaders’ Roundtable, attendees will explore how digital technology can revolutionise education, drawing from the experiences of South-East Asian countries that have successfully implemented EdTech policies. Participants will delve into the six essential components of the Digital Transformation Collaborative (DTC) framework, a new common framework co-published by UNESCO, designed to create a lasting impact on learners, educators, and all education stakeholders. The six components are:

  • coordination and leadership
  • cost and sustainability
  • connectivity and infrastructure
  • capacity and culture
  • content and curriculum
  • data and evidence

The event’s agenda will include:

  • Case Study presentations: Real-world examples of successful EdTech implementation
  • Framework overview: A detailed explanation of the DTC framework
  • Roundtable discussion: An open forum for exchanging ideas and experiences
  • Focused group sessions: Targeted discussions on specific components of the framework

This invitation-only event offers a unique opportunity for fellow leaders to collaborate, share insights, and contribute to shaping the future of education in their region.

A whitepaper summarising the key insights and recommendations will be published in Autumn 2024.
