H.E. Dr Anindito Aditomo

H.E. Dr Anindito Aditomo is an educator, education leader, and policymaker currently leading the transformation of one of the largest education systems in the world. He holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia, and a PhD in the learning sciences from the University of Sydney, Australia.
In his current role, H.E. Dr Aditomo engages with diverse stakeholders and manages multiple interdisciplinary teams to lead curriculum and assessment reform in Indonesia, which has impacted tens of millions of students and teachers across Indonesia. During his tenure, the education system saw an increase in the number of students meeting minimum standards in reading literacy by 14 percentage points (from 53% to 67%) and in math literacy by 27 percentage points (from 33% to 60%) from 2021 to 2023. The policy reforms in Indonesia reflect H.E. Dr Aditomo’s strong commitment to evidence-informed policy and the provision of equitable learning opportunities for all students.
