The Bett Asia Awards celebrate and champion the EdTech trendsetters and innovators who are revolutionising education across the Asia-Pacific region. In 2025, we will be recognising excellence across 6 categories. Winners will be announced onsite as part of a ceremony at Bett Asia on 1 October at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

Celebrating a university that demonstrates leadership in leveraging technology to revolutionise education, research, or student experiences.

Who can enter? 
Universities, education institutions and groups for learners after K-12 (aged 18+) 


Best Use of Technology in K-12 Education

Recognising a school that has creatively integrated technology to enhance learning outcomes, engagement, or accessibility.

Who can enter?
Education institutions or groups for K-12 learners (ages 5-18) 


Best Use of Technology in TVET

Recognising a TVET institution which has leveraged innovative technology to enhance technical and vocational education, driving excellence in skills development.

EdTech for
Inclusion Award

Celebrating an EdTech solution provider that has developed solutions that champion inclusivity and empower marginalised learners (disability, linguistic minorities, gender inclusion, etc.), driving meaningful educational outcomes through innovative technology.

Entry terms & conditions

  • All entries must be completed and submitted online by 31 July 2025 at 17:00 BST.  

  • Organisations can be entered into more than one category as long as the applications are tailored specifically to show evidence of their relevance to each. 

  • The length of the submission is limited (see max word count on the entry form) 

  • Each application must be completed in one session. Application progress cannot be saved. 

  • As stated on the entry form, please prepare & supply a 30 second – 1 minute video that introduces yourself and briefly explains how the organisation has demonstrated impact within education in the APAC region. Feel free to be as creative as you’d like! If your entry is shortlisted, please note these videos may be posted on social media channels and used as marketing materials. They will also be collated with other shortlisted candidates. 

  • Where the entry was a collaborative effort, all major contributors should be credited within the entry. 

Technical requirements for video: 

  • Recording devices can be laptops or PCs (Mac – Quick Time player, Windows – Camera), iPhone (landscape only) or DSLR cameras. Please ensure this is done in landscape mode. 

  • Always record and export files in high resolution as HD clips / 720p or 1080p as mp4 or mov file. 

  • Record yourself with good sound quality / via webcam or external/internal microphones. 

  • You can record your statement in your school or other location of your choice. 

  • Please use lighting that highlights your face if the room is dark. 

  • Please ensure your file name is clearly labelled with your organisation name and the award category. 

Frequently Asked Questions

Applicants can nominate themselves or can be nominated on behalf of another. 

No, there is no cost involved to apply for an award nomination. However, please note that if you are shortlisted and wish to attend the awards ceremony, then you will be responsible for arranging and covering the expenses for the trip to Malaysia yourself. 

Organisations can be entered in more than one category as long as they are eligible to apply and the applications are tailored specifically to show evidence of their relevance to each. Please complete and submit one form per awards category. If you are applying for more than one category, please upload your supporting video as part of each nomination. 

As part of your nomination, you will be asked to prepare & supply a 30 second – 1 minute video that introduces yourself and briefly explains how the organisation has demonstrated impact within education in the APAC region. Feel free to be as creative as you’d like! If your entry is shortlisted, please note these videos may be posted on social media channels and used as marketing materials. They will also be collated with other shortlisted candidates.

The finalists will be announced on the Bett Asia website on 21 August 2025.  

The winners will be announced at Bett Asia 2025 on 1 October 2025 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  

Bett Awards winners will receive a trophy at the Awards ceremony on 1 October 2025. Winners will also receive a Bett Asia 2025 Awards winning logo to use for marketing purposes. Finalists will receive a Bett Asia 2025 Awards Finalist logo.
