Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for Higher Education and Development (SEAMEO RIHED)

Dr. Romyen Kosaikanont is currently the Centre Director of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for Higher Education and Development (SEAMEO RIHED) and previously served as a former Vice President for International Affairs of Mae Fah Luang University, Thailand.  She has long been actively engaging in higher education harmonisation and internationalisation processes in Thailand and the region.  She is one of the pioneers in establishing the intra-regional mobility the Asian International Mobility for Students (AIMS) Programme. On the regional level, she has served as a regional expert in projects such as the DAAD International Dean Course, the Japan ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF) for the Capacity Building Project for the Greater Mekong Subregion, and CIDA Sustainable Environmental Management Project. Dr. Romyen is committed to fostering a collective learning as well as co-creating the common space for higher education for equitable and sustainable development of this region.
