Mr Charlton Lim

International Relations Expert Mahidol University

Charlton Lim is a seasoned professional in the field of international education and student mobility. He holds an honours degree in Global Studies with a specialization in international communications from the National University of Singapore.

After completing his education, Charlton began his career in international relations as a civil servant in the energy sector, contributing to international cooperation efforts. He later transitioned to the education sector, where he held a key position overseeing strategic partnerships and student mobility in Southeast Asia at the National University of Singapore for nearly four years.

In February 2023, Charlton moved to Thailand to join the international relations division at Mahidol University. In his current role, he is actively involved in developing strategic partnerships, leading student mobility programs, and promoting capacity-building initiatives.

Charlton currently speaks 6 languages, including English, Mandarin, French, Thai, Japanese, and Sign Language and he hopes to hit at least 10 in his lifetime.

Outside of his professional engagements, Charlton enjoys teaching English online, practicing yoga and bouldering.
