Dr Chaiwuti Lertwanasiriwan

Assistant President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) The Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST)

With more than 23 years of experience in the ICT for education field, Dr Chaiwuti Lertwanasiriwan is currently an Assistant President and Chief Information Officer at the Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology, Ministry of Education. He received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Chemistry from KMITL and a Master of Science in Information Technology Management from UTCC, Thailand.

He also has a Ph.D. in Science Education from the University of Texas at Austin, USA. He served as an advisory committee in the study of ICT in education policy in the selected ASEAN countries for UNESCO Asia-Pacific Regional Bureau for Education in 2013. Besides, he was a national research coordinator in the International Computer and Information Literacy Study from 2010 – 2014.
