Thanbeer Kaur

Bett Asia Advisory Board Member and Pre-University Educator Desa Mahkota Form Six College Malaysia

Thanbeer serves as a Pre-University Educator at Desa Mahkota Form Six College in Kuala Lumpur and a member of the Bett Asia Advisory Board. She received the E-Teacher Icon 2020 award by NUTP (National Union of Teaching Profession, Malaysia) and UNITAR International University and Paul Harris Fellow title from Rotary Club in appreciation of her unwavering support as a teacher advisor.

With an extensive background encompassing various educational institutions, Thanbeer brings a distinctive outlook to her classroom approach placing significant emphasis on experiential learning. She held the roles of Master Trainer for CEFR and teacher trainer at the Institute of Teacher Education, International Languages, making significant contributions to language and teacher education in Malaysia.

Thanbeer's professional journey includes serving as an Assistant Director in the Language Assessment Unit at the Malaysian Examinations Syndicate,MOE, as well as hosting an English Language learning programme on Malaysian television. Her active involvement in educational entities at the state, national, and international levels, alongside her participation in webinars and conferences, demonstrates her remarkable adaptability and expertise within the realm of education.
