Winnie is an Educational Technology coordinator at De La Salle Santiago Zobel School. She has a Master of Education in General Science from De La Salle University- Manila and obtained 27 units in MA in Child Study at the Philippine Normal University.
She serves as resource speaker in seminars and workshops on blended learning approach and on ICT/ technology integration in both public and private schools. She considers herself a facilitator who inspires student learning and creativity as she combines innovative strategies and various technology tools to create student- centered learning environment.
Winnie is an Apple Distinguished Educator, Certified Apple Teacher, Apple Professional Learning Consultant, Certified Google Educator Level 2, Microsoft Innovative Educator xpert, Distinguished Lasallian Leader, and was named one of the Outstanding Filipinos 2016 in the Search for Outstanding Teachers by the Metrobank Foundation. She is also a recipient of the DLSZ Outstanding Instructional Leader, Teaching Portfolio and Instructional Materials Awards.
She has significant experiences in academic leadership by playing a lead role in a number of instructional materials/ curriculum development projects and has produced a number of exemplary instructional materials. Winnie served as a curriculum writer for DepEd National Training of Trainers on Pedagogical Retooling in Math, Languages, and Science (PRIMALS) in May 2017. She has written several textbooks including Lasallian textbooks entitled Lasallian Schools: Science Book for Junior Prep for De La Salle Press, Penmanship for Grade 4 for ICON Publishing House, Inc. and Understanding Life through Science for Grades 4-6, a K-12 elementary series, for Phoenix Publishing House, Inc.
