Teach For Malaysia achieves this by empowering young people to be leaders in the classroom and beyond, and mobilising Malaysians to transform our nation through education. In 7 years, the movement has raised RM36 million to recruit, train and support over 350 Fellows and Alumni to impact more than 92,000 students in over 120 schools across 10 states.
Teach For Malaysia students have achieved a range of accomplishments such as securing prestigious scholarships, winning rigorous competitions and even inspiring and starring in a film that won the 2017 award for Best Film in Malaysia. Teach For Malaysia’s Alumni movement of over 250 individuals continue to drive systemic changes across school transformation, STEM education and 21st century teaching practices.
Teach For Malaysia won Best Graduate Programme at the Graduate Recruitment Awards 2015 and is currently ranked as the 37th Most Popular Graduate Employer on the Top 100 Graduate Employer list. It is also the only NGO and civil service employer on the list.
