This talk will focus on the benefits of integrating robotics school wide and how schools can use different teacher skills to build a successful robotics program. We will showcase real life student experiences and have students talk about their experience with VEX Robotics and the learning outcomes they have managed to reach.
During this session we will cover:
How educational robotics can be an effective tool to teach STEM and Computer Science. Plus, how Robotics can be used to develop students’ soft skills such as communication, team work, critical thinking as well as technical skills such as programming and engineering.
How to integrate VEX Robotics programs with non-specialist teachers and what support school leadership can provide.
What does a successful VEX Robotics program look like?
Hear from primary and secondary school students who have been through VEX Robotics programs and what are the unexpected skills they have developed.
