With 52% of 3-5 year olds having access to a tablet (according to a recent report from The Insights Family), kids are more connected with the world at large through social media. These digitally enabled kids are learning an expectation to access what they want, when they want.

This has led to a frequently reported lack of student engagement in the classroom, which is one of the biggest obstacles teachers face. Many teachers remain dependent on outdated/expensive textbooks, which creates inequality and furthers student disengagement.
