Gary Tibbett is the Manager for the Global Esports Academy which is an arm of The Global Esports Federation and Education Advisor to the the British Esports Federation. Gary leads the BEA partnership with Pearson, the global learning company, and has developed the BTEC in Esports: the first esports qualifications of their kind in the world for 14-19 year olds. He is also leading ground breaking work in esports education with a number of educational institutes and international organisations.

Gary has a degree in Games Design, Animation and VFX, starting his journey in the esports ecosystem in 2016 whilst working in the games industry. Transferring his skills and knowledge into education to become a lecturer specialising in Games Design, Animation and VFX.
